Community Invited to Sussex County Land Trust Easter Egg Hunt at the Wolfe House

Families across Sussex County are invited to celebrate spring at the inaugural Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Sussex County Land Trust this Sunday, March 22 at 2:00 p.m. at their historic Wolfe House property, 36070 Wolfe Neck Road, Rehoboth Beach.

This free, family-friendly event will feature a traditional Easter egg hunt on the beautiful Wolfe Neck property. Children will have the chance to search for colorful eggs across the grounds while families enjoy the outdoors and connect with the local community. The Easter Bunny will also make a special appearance, giving children an opportunity to say hello and take photos.

While the event is free to attend, advance registration is required to help organizers prepare for the number of participants.

The event is part of Sussex County Land Trust’s 25th Anniversary celebration, highlighting 25 years of protecting Sussex County’s natural and historic places for public enjoyment. The Wolfe House property provides a scenic setting for families to enjoy the outdoors while celebrating the season.

Participants are encouraged to arrive a little early to check in and get ready for the hunt, which begins promptly at 2:15 p.m.

Save the Date: Sussex County Land Trust will host two additional major community events later this year. A July 2 drone light show celebration, part of the statewide Delaware 250 festivities honoring America’s 250th birthday, will take place ahead of Independence Day. The annual Dogfish Dash will return on September 27. Sponsorship packages for both events will be released soon.
