Stewardship Manager

Eric Williams joined the Sussex County Land Trust in June 2026 as the organization's first full-time Stewardship Manager. In this role, he oversees stewardship and maintenance activities across SCLT's growing portfolio of preserves, historic properties, and public access sites, while helping advance capital improvement projects, volunteer engagement efforts, and long-term property management initiatives.

Eric brings extensive experience in project management, operations, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement. Throughout his career, he has successfully coordinated complex projects, managed contractors and resources, and built collaborative relationships with diverse partners and community members. His strong organizational skills, analytical approach, and commitment to service help ensure that SCLT's properties are well-maintained, welcoming, and aligned with the organization's mission.

As Stewardship Manager, Eric works closely with staff, volunteers, contractors, community partners, and the Property Management Committee to implement preservation, recreation, and stewardship initiatives across Sussex County.

A Delaware native, Eric resides in Milford with his partner, Kathleen. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting, exploring the outdoors, and spending time in the natural areas that make Sussex County unique. He is excited to help advance the Sussex County Land Trust's mission and ensure that Sussex County's natural, agricultural, and historic resources are protected and enjoyed for generations to come.
