Sussex County Land Trust Seeks Bids for 2027–2028 Mowing Services

Sussex County Land Trust (SCLT) is accepting bids from qualified contractors to provide mowing and related grounds maintenance services at designated properties throughout Sussex County for the 2027 and 2028 mowing seasons.

The contract is anticipated to begin March 1, 2027, and continue through December 1, 2028.

The scope of work includes regular mowing, monthly mowing, and as-needed services across ten SCLT properties:

  • Wolfe House

  • Ickford Park

  • Stephen P. Hudson Park

  • Hopkins Preserve

  • Nanticoke Crossing Park

  • Forest of the Broadkill

  • Chase Oaks Preserve

  • Milton Crossing

  • Gills Neck Road Trail

  • Ard Na Gréine

SCLT intends to select one contractor to provide services across the properties, unless otherwise determined by the Land Trust.

The complete bid package includes property-specific mowing maps, maintenance requirements, pricing sheets, contractor qualifications, and submission information. Contractors are encouraged to review the full scope of work and inspect the properties before submitting proposals.
